Macclesfield retailer Arighi Bianchi has launched a new interior design studio headed by interior designer Katy Froggatt (pictured).
The studio, based within the store, caters for clients looking for expert advice and a full design service, from individual room schemes to entire houses.
The launch comes on the back of increased demand for home design packages using Arighi Bianchi’s array of home furnishing products. Clients including soap star Adam Thomas and his wife Caroline, TOWIE’s Lucy Mecklenburgh and Macclesfield FC have already benefitted from the service.
One of the first clients to use the studio’s new offering was soap star and Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin Fletcher, who is currently starring in BBC1’s Kelvin’s Big Farm Adventure. Katy is leading on the renovation and redesign of his 18th century farmhouse, which is featured in the show.
Katy will work on a one-on-one basis with clients and offer services from in-store consultation to store tours, home visits, moodboard creation, full installation and redecoration.
Sarah Bianchi, MD at Arighi Bianchi, says: “Having worked as part of the Arighi Bianchi sales team and as a personal shopper for a number of years, Katy was the ideal choice to lead our new studio. Katy has already been rolling out the service while the store has been closed during lockdown periods, offering a remote design service, online consultations, video tours and posting out moodboards and samples to clients. It’s fantastic to now be able to officially open the studio within our building.”
Katy adds: “The design studio is the final piece of the puzzle when it comes to the interior design offering at Arighi Bianchi, and I am so proud to officially open the doors to this beautiful space that is fitting of the service that we offer.
“Arighi Bianchi is an absolute treasure trove, with everything a homeowner could need to redesign their home from top to bottom. I work closely with my clients to bring their vision to life, picking out key pieces and trends that will stand the test of time. The new studio is the perfect place to work from, located right in the heart of the store yet within its own dedicated and private space.
“So far I’ve completed around 50 projects, a number of these remotely whilst the store was closed during lockdown. I have worked on everything from a single room redesign to villas in Mallorca, ski chalets and football boardrooms – not to mention many beautiful properties across Cheshire and beyond.
“I’m currently working with Kelvin Fletcher on a project that will see him completely transform the 18th century farmhouse that he recently purchased. It’s been a huge project that I can’t wait to see come to fruition when we complete the final install in a couple of months’ time.
“With many people choosing to redesign their homes over the past 12 months, demand for our in-store design service has been phenomenal. As such I’m hoping to grow the team and our offering to give even more people the opportunity to benefit from the Arighi Bianchi design experience.”
