UK mattress and seating manufacturer Mammoth Technologies has signed an exclusive deal with one of the UK's largest health organisations, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Under the agreement Mammoth has committed to seeking the advice of specialist physiotherapy experts as it develops new products.
The CSP is the representative body for UK physiotherapists, with over 53,000 members. The agreement will enable expert physiotherapists to work with Mammoth on new products and technologies. The CSP link has already secured physiotherapist advice on a new seating range, The Tyler, developed in conjunction with renowned recliner brand La-Z-Boy UK.

All the evidence I have seen suggests that providing the right comfort and support for better posture, whether relaxing in front of the TV or recovering at night through deeper sleep, has health benefits. "Importantly, the partnership will also enhance awareness of Mammoth products amongst physiotherapists. We expect this will further increase footfall to Mammoth stockists."
CSP director Rob Yeldham adds: "Mammoth is unusual because it started the discussion with us from the point of principle that its products should be designed to take account of issues such as pressure relief, posture and circulation. This has allowed us to break new ground. Working with Mammoth we've pioneered the use of specialist physiotherapist consultants to review products and offer advice to manufacturers."
Mammoth already has ties with Northumbria University's Sleep Science Centre, the Newcastle University School of Bio-Sciences, the British Athletes Commission, English, Welsh and Irish Rugby Players Associations and the UK Chiropractic Patients Association.
