A new senior manager will be the new leader of the marketing department at Nya Nordiska, a leading international textile editeur. Marco Vieregge will be in charge of the growing area of responsibility at the company, which is expanding at international level. With Vieregge, the management of Nya Nordiska was able to win a long-standing, highly qualified staff member of Nya Nordiska for this position.
“We are delighted to hand over the marketing department to the responsibility of Marco Vieregge as of now”, underlines Remo Röntgen, MD marketing and sales at Nya Nordiska. In the past six years, Marco Vieregge was able to build up a high level of expertise in this area. “Our marketing has to work at the interface of design and service, based on partnership. His commitment, know-how, creative and cross-functional way of working as well as his affinity for Zeitgeist make him the best possible person for this position. Also, thinking in terms of networking and cooperation are some of Marco Vieregge’s special skills”, Remo explains.
With its employee structure, Nya Nordiska is considered an excellent example of a medium-sized company in Germany – about 30% of employees were educated and trained internally. Also Marco Vieregge, who joined Nya Nordiska in August 2000, has always continued to qualify himself in different departments, after completing his three-year training as a specialist in foreign and wholesale trade. Since January 2008, Mr Vieregge has been in charge of trade fairs and events at the marketing department, and since 2010 also for PR. “We care very much about training our employees and introducing them to areas of responsibility”, says Remo.
