Bed manufacturer Matza is taking workforce skills to the next level with a new focus on training at its West Yorkshire headquarters.
MD Asif Ayub says: “Our greatest asset is our team, so the best way to make sure our products continue to be top quality is to ensure we are always at the cutting edge with training and investment in a skilled workforce.
“We are concentrating on training over the next few months covering all aspects of the business, from customer service to bedmaking skills. The aim is to ensure we stay ahead of the game when it comes to industry skills.”
The bedmaker is also working with its local Jobcentre Plus to offer work experience which could potentially lead to permanent jobs for the right people.
Matza is a well-established, family run business well known for its white label products as well as its own ranges of high quality, solidly built and well-designed bedframes, mattresses, divan bases and headboards.
