Riva 1920, a family run business, well-known for its passion and traditional craftsmanship, is the latest international brand to join the May Design Series, which takes place at London’s ExCeL next month.
Close to 400 brands are now signed to the show hailing from 20 countries from across the world, including Australia, Italy, Denmark, Belgium, Singapore, Spain, and South Africa. Making this year’s edition of the show its most international yet with at least 35% of exhibitors representing those from across the pond.
Riva 1920 joins a repertoire of quality brands including Casamania, Lucente, Zazzeri, Stosa Cusine, Xey, Ebb & Flow, Tres Tintas Barcelona, Alhambra Internacional, Gwinner and Koiner, Pedro & Osorio, Calia Italia, Santarossa and Doca all looking to spotlight their best and most recent products in front of an audience of UK and international buyers.
For those who missed the opportunity in Milan or are looking to procure for the busy autumn period, May Design Series is now firmly on the horizon with a breadth of international and UK brands.
Part of the stellar line-up is Italian brand Casamania, fresh from Milan, where it launched its striking collection with Venetian designer Luca Nichetto and La-Dina chairs - a contemporary take on traditional wooden chairs.
A resounding success at iSaloni, Riva 1920 will be bringing its Bree e Onda Table characterised by its undulating patterns and curved corners for lovers of the minimalist movement.
Highly-regarded German furniture manufacturer Koinor will be making a rare UK appearance to the show with its Bronx Dinner Sofa – a soft leather sofa that can be adapted to include an armrest at one or both ends.
Retailers, architects, interior designers and specifiers alike will be equally impressed with Ebb & Flow inventive new additions. Cleverly combining British and Nordic style with glass, metals and textiles into modern lighting, the Rowan and Pillar lamps are smartly designed to bring warmth and beauty to any space.
May Design Series will bring together the retail and contract communities across 5 design districts – Kitchen + Bathroom, The Furniture Show, DX, Decor and Lighting [inc Arc] to create a definitive furnishings fair. It will run from the 18-20 May at ExCeL London.
