The National Bed Federation (NBF) has announced its retailer finalists for the annual 2023 Bed Industry Awards.
Fifteen retailers have made it to the finalist list, and will compete for the top accolade in their category.
Renowned for being a pinnacle of excellence in the trade, the awards – now in their 14th year – showcase the best in bed retail.
“We are delighted to announce the retailer finalists in our annual awards,” says Simon Williams, head of marketing and membership for the NBF. “It’s been a challenging year for UK and Irish retailers, but we received some very strong, stand-out entries – a great reflection on our industry.
“It’s always very difficult shortlisting and picking winners, and it’s a decision that is not taken lightly. The independent judging teams spent considerable time reading through all the entries and supporting documents. To be a finalist is a tremendous achievement.”
All entrants had to meet the criteria of sourcing at least 50% of their UK- and Irish-made beds and mattresses from NBF member companies.
The finalists are:
Online Bed Retailer of the Year: MattressNextDay; MattressOnline
National Bed Retailer of the Year: Bensons for Beds; DFS; Dreams; Furniture Village
Small NBF Retail Champion of the Year (up to four stores): Dreamland Bedding; Linthorpe Beds; Now to Bed; Peter Betteridge – Your Bed Expert
Large NBF Retail Champion of the Year (5-20 stores): Sussex Beds; The Bed Post;
Ad of the Year: MattressMan; MattressOnline; Prestige Beds
The winners will be announced at the Bed Show 2023 gala dinner on 26th September at Telford International Centre, and the organiser strongly encourages all finalists to attend.
