The National Bed Federation (NBF) has announced the 14 retailer finalists for its annual 2024 Bed Industry Awards.
The awards – now in their 15th year – showcase the best in bed retail. All entrants had to meet the criteria of sourcing at least 50% of their UK- and Irish-made beds and mattresses from NBF member companies.
Simon Williams, head of marketing and membership for the NBF, says: “It's been another challenging year for many retailers in the UK and Ireland, but we've received some incredibly strong entries for 2024 – a true reflection of our steadfast industry.
"I would like to thank our independent judging panel, who dedicated a significant amount of time to review and deliberate over all the entries and supporting documents – it really isn’t an easy task!
"Becoming a finalist is an achievement in itself, and they should be very proud of themselves."
The finalists are:
Online Bed Retailer of the Year: Land of Beds; MattressNextDay; Mattress Online; and Simba Sleep
National Bed Retailer of the Year: Bensons for Beds; DFS; Dreams; and Furniture Village
Small NBF Retail Champion of the Year (up to four stores): Dreamland Bedding Centre; Linthorpe Beds; Prestige Beds; and The M6 Bed Warehouse
Large NBF Retail Champion of the Year (5-20 stores): Sussex Beds; and The Bed Post
The category was judged by Bernard Eaton (Greenwood Retail), Dan Squires (Big Furniture Group) and Jarrod Bird (Interiors Monthly).
The winners will be announced at the Bed Show 2024 gala dinner on 24th September at Telford International Centre.
