NBF issues final call to enter industry awards

The National Bed Federation is calling bed retailers, manufacturers, and suppliers to enter this year's NBF Bed Industry Awards.

Now in their 12th year, the awards honour the best in inspiration, design and innovation from UK bed retailers, manufacturers, and suppliers.

New for 2021 is the NBF Retail Champions Award, open to independents with fewer than 15 stores which stock NBF-approved brands. Businesses with 15 stores or more are encouraged to enter the National Retailer of the Year award, and the Online Retailer of the Year award is open to businesses who make at least 80% of their sales via the internet.

For NBF manufacturers or supplier members with environmental/green credentials, the Sustainability Award shines a spotlight on those which may have implemented a complete sustainable development programme, or have simply made much smaller but equally important steps to reduce their carbon footprint.

"So," asks the NBF, "why enter? Raise your company profile – add the coveted winner's emblem to your website or display your trophy in-store! Highlight your achievements - after a challenging year, there's no better opportunity to show off your hard work. Showcase your experience - whether you're a long-established business or new to the game, everyone is welcome to enter. Acknowledge your team’s efforts - what exceptional things has your team accomplished in the last 12 months? Finally, the awards are free to enter, and are submitted online."

The organiser is hopeful the awards, sponsored by The Vita Group, will be presented at the Bed Show Gala Dinner on Tuesday 21st September at Telford International Centre.

Entrants will be judged by an independent panel, and entries close for the Sustainability Award and the Retailer Awards on Friday 23rd July. More details on all the awards, including this year’s judges, are available on the Bed Show website.
