Microvellum, a provider of design and manufacturing software to wood product manufacturers, has signed up as co-sponsor of the Manufacturing Guild Mark.
Awarded by The Furniture Makers’ Company, the Manufacturing Guild Mark has helped distinguish Britain’s top furnishing manufacturers since 1993. The award is made to a company that demonstrates high standards across all aspects of the business, including manufacturing, design, product quality, marketing, finance, commitment to training, employment conditions and sustainability. The audits are carried out by FIRA International on behalf of The Furniture Makers’ Company, and companies are re-audited every three years to ensure they retain their high standards.
Microvellum joins Biesse UK as sponsor of the Manufacturing Guild Mark.
Steve Bulmer, Manufacturing Guild Mark chairman, says: “We are absolutely delighted that Microvellum has become co-sponsor of the Manufacturing Guild Mark. The mark is the highest accolade UK furnishing manufacturers can achieve. To be a holder is to be an exemplar of the furnishing industry. Retailers, specifiers and distributors that deal with companies that hold the mark can rest easy knowing that they are working with a great British furnishings manufacturer that has achieved the highest standards.”
Daniel Mesecke, account manager at Microvellum, adds: “Microvellum is extremely proud to be co-sponsoring such a prestigious mark of manufacturing excellence. We are passionate about quality and innovation and are excited to be involved in recognising the UK businesses that share our passion and manufacture products to the highest standards. We enjoy building long-lasting relationships with our clients and industry partners, providing a positive contribution to the industry and collectively building a better future.”
