Lee Longlands, which has stores in Birmingham, Cheltenham, Leamington Spa, Abingdon and Derby, has purchased a new fleet of Mercedes Atego 7.5t delivery trucks in partnership with Midlands Truck & Van and InnoVent Leasing.
The news is a sign of the company’s ongoing infrastructure investment. Lee Longlands has already seen 10% year-on-year growth since its restructure four years ago, and reported a 31% increase in operating profit in 2014.
Financial director Darren Campo says: “We are delighted to have sourced a fleet of Mercedes trucks, which is aligned to the same premium qualities that the Lee Longlands brand offers its customers. It was extremely important for us to find the right finance solution, and InnoVent Leasing gave us the advice and flexibility to ensure we chose an optimum solution for our business.
“We see this investment as a key part of our current business model and corporate infrastructure, which gives us a platform to build on the recent growth and maximise future opportunities.”
