In September 2014, Decorex International will move to London's Syon Park. The elegant backdrop of the Robert Adam-designed Syon House, and its surrounding parkland, will provide the UK's leading luxury design and interiors show with the much-needed space to accommodate more exhibitors, larger stands and create inspirational showcase features. Organiser UBM says that the new venue will offer a "much-enhanced experience for over 13,000 visitors who attend the show" (2013 visitor figures).
Decorex was previously staged at Syon for 10 years.
Brand director Simone du Bois says: "Syon Park is an all-encompassing destination that will allow us to expand, and continue to provide the definitive inspirational international showcase for the design industry, where the best and most established brands are presented alongside fresh and emerging talents - both designers and makers. We want to both encourage and support young designers to invigorate the design industry with new ideas, whilst providing a platform to share the wisdom and talent of the great design names we have here in the UK, and from around the world.
"Syon Park has the space which will enable us to explore more internal feature areas, and to showcase the exciting talent our industry has to offer. This provides the perfect opportunity to accommodate new designers, core industry names and pop-up restaurants, aspects of which will be an important part of creating an event visitors will want to spend a whole day exploring."
There will be free on-site parking at Syon Park, while continual courtesy transport will be in place to provide access to the nearest public transport, together with a return bus service from Central London. show will take place from 21st-24th September 2014.
