Home furnishings retailer Terrys has appointed Gareth Coxall as marketing and creative director.
Bringing over 25 years’ experience and knowledge within the homeware sector, Gareth has led on high-growth strategies for interior brands, having previously worked in both sales director and MD roles across the home furnishing market.
In Terrys' 54 years of trading, Gareth is the first non-family member to enter the board of directors. Having worked with the team for just over a year in a non-director role, Gareth has been instrumental in Terrys' recent success, having last month announced a +109% surge in revenue YoY and the acquisition of several popular homeware collections including Emma Shipley, Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen, and Cath Kidston.
Gareth comments: “I am thrilled to have joined the Terrys board as the first non-family member in the retailer’s history. This is an exciting new challenge at a time when the prominence of ecommerce in the industry has grown greatly. Additional to expanding our offering, we’re excited to be working with some of the most popular designers to bring our customers the exclusive collections that they crave.”
Paul McGuinness, MD at Terrys, adds: “We are delighted to welcome Gareth as marketing and creative director at Terrys. We are ambitious for growth and Gareth has the credentials and experience to help us elevate our brand and accelerate our growth to take the business to the next level.”
