Industry hot shots raised £8000 for charity The Furniture Makers' Company at last month's Northern Big Shots event.
Organised by Karen Stevenson, chairman of the charity’s North West Region arm, the annual clay pigeon shoot took place on 22nd September, once again at the Catton Hall Shooting Ground in Frodsham.
Eighteen teams, from furnishing companies including Celtheath, Furniture Village, Howdens, Hypnos, Jay-Be, Panaz, Spinks and Tempur, took part in the popular industry fundraiser. After a spirited competition, the near-80 guests enjoyed lunch, a charity auction and raffle. Panaz’s team, Clays of Glory, was the winner of the tournament, and was presented the Top Team Cup.
