Oak Furniture Land opened a new store in Basingstoke, on 10th November. Featuring a mezzanine floor, the 16,225 sqft furniture store is located on the St Michael’s Retail Park, and has created six new jobs.
Ben North, regional manager at Oak Furniture Land, says: “Following on from the success of our other stores in the region, we’re delighted to be opening our first store in Basingstoke. We’re proud to offer quality solid hardwood furniture in a variety of designs and style to suit all tastes and homes and we’re looking forward to extending our affordable offering to the loyal customers in and around the area.”
To honour the heroes of the First World War on the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, Oak Furniture Land opened all its stores later on Remembrance Sunday to allow staff and colleagues to pay their respects.
In all, the retailer has opened seven stores this year.
