Coinciding with the brand’s fifth birthday, the transformation signals a new chapter for the business. The launch of Houseology.com brings with it a new website to mirror the character of the diverse team that powers the business, with a host of new tools and technology to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Last night founder Kate Mooney announced to an audience of suppliers, designers and some of the UK’s foremost business figures, the news of the new direction for the Scottish business.
The upcoming launch of Houseology.com follows another successful year for the business, with the brand’s Series B investment round successfully closing in October 2014, signalling the start of the next stage in the businesses’ growth strategy. The well-established board and advisory panel has continued to grow over the past two years to boast a variety of highly experienced and knowledgeable retailers and investors including former Tesco CEO Sir Terry Leahy.
A playful take on the study of the home, the brand ethos of Houseology.com has evolved to reflect a new level of global interior design expertise, which embodies the passion of the team of houseologists behind the scenes. No longer simply an e-commerce platform, the new Houseology.com site will become home to an array of tools and technology to surprise and inspire customers and design enthusiasts alike.
With a mission to support customers in making the right purchasing decisions for their home, the new website will feature insightful articles and how-to guides to run alongside videos and design inspiration. Combined, these elements will comprise the Houseology Masterclass. Fresh content will be added weekly courtesy of an expert design team and special guest industry experts – all part of Houseology.com’s mission to stand apart as a unique retail destination.
