Proposte postponed to autumn 2021

Proposte 2021, due to take place this April, has been rescheduled to 7-9th September, 2021, to be held at Villa Erba, in Cernobbio, as usual.

Proposte's management says it has examined every possible solution to implementing the best strategy given the current health crisis, and reached the decision to postpone its 2021 show, enabling it to overlap with Italy's Salone Internazionale del Mobile.

"We want to give a positive sign of continuity to the industry’s global market," says Proposte's president, Piercarlo Viganò. "We are confident that the new September dates will allow us to organise a completely safe event, counting on international mobility between countries, thanks also to the global vaccination campaign, which will make it possible for everyone to attend the event in complete tranquility and carry out their business as usual. We have also decided to overlap our three-day event with the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, which will be held in Milan, in the hope of facilitating visitors who, in less time and with one single trip, will thus have an opportunity to attend both events."

Proposte's board of directors hopes this decision will help confirm the continuity of the global event, which is dedicated to furnishing fabrics and tapestry, "enabling exhibitors to present their collections to the traditional, professional, qualified, and, above all, numerous Proposte community".
