North East-based Mammoth Technologies is celebrating a successful end to 2014 with an office expansion and two new appointments.
As one of the fastest growing businesses in the bed industry, Mammoth has relocated to prestigious larger offices in Cobalt in Newcastle upon Tyne. The company has also recruited a head of marketing Kris Wood and sales and customer relationship manager, Marie Hindmarch.
Kris Wood has been in the marketing and graphic design industry for nearly 20 years. Alongside creating and managing all branding and point of sale material, he will be heading up the new dedicated retailer marketing support service - a comprehensive suite of POS materials, local and national ad campaigns, employee training videos and materials, incentive schemes, social media marketing and lead generating competitions - all developed to drive footfall into retailers.
Kris says: “I’ve worked with Mammoth as a consultant since it first launched. As it continued to rapidly grow, the opportunity to be involved at a greater level arose. There’s so much currently happening, and with lots of exciting things in the pipeline, I’m looking forward to getting stuck in.”
Marie will be running the new sales system which has been developed to ensure the best and most efficient customer relations. She will also be in charge of office administration.
Spearheaded by dynamic thirty-something entrepreneur John Tuton, Mammoth launched to the trade in 2012 and has seen a huge growth in the past three years for its niche clinically proven, specialist mattresses. Since the beginning of 2014, the company has grown 45% on independent accounts and 69% on nationals and reached is January 2015 year-end target three months ahead of schedule.
MD John Tuton says: “Colbalt Business Park is extremely accessible making it easier to do business, not to mention being part of dynamic business community. Kris and Marie have already made a significant impact to the company, alongside the move, we’re now in a great position to hit the ground running in 2015."
