Renowned new exhibitors and returnees on board for Heimtextil

Visitors to the next Heimtextil can once again look forward to a long list of high-grade exhibitors at one of the world’s leading trade fairs for home and contract textiles. Many prominent companies have already announced they will be taking part for the first time or returning to the fair. In addition, more exhibition space has been booked than at this time last year. Moreover, many interesting conceptual changes are in the pipeline and Heimtextil will have a new, central presentation area with the addition of Hall 4.0.

“We have worked on new concepts to take account of the increasing number of exhibitors and visitors at the previous fair and are delighted with the positive response to them. The number of registrations received so far for Heimtextil 2015 has exceeded our expectations and gives us great impetus for our plans,” reports Olaf Schmidt, vice president Textiles & Textile Technologies of Messe Frankfurt. In the additional exhibition space offered by Hall 4.0, visitors will find a new product group, Digital Print, one of the fastest-growing segments at Heimtextil. Suppliers of digital printing technology stood for one of the dominant trends at the last Heimtextil and the coming fair also promises a continuing boom in this field with another top player – printer manufacturer Epson Europe – having announced its interest in Heimtextil. Additionally, the European Digital Textile Conference will be held for the second time during the fair – in the immediate vicinity of exhibitor presentations in the Digital Print product group. Other presentations of innovative subjects and products are also being planned for Hall 4.0.

The level of interest in Halls 3.0, 3.1 and 4.1, which are almost fully booked-up, continues on a high plane. With Germany’s Geos Geilfuss textile-publishing company, another long-established company will be represented in Hall 3.0 for the first time. The Austrian fine textile-publishing company has announced its interest in making a presentation in Hall 3.1 – as have Wohntex from Austria and NMC from Belgium. Heimtextil can also report a number of renowned returnees in Hall 4.1: Diaz Sunprotection, the Movelta-Tavelmo furniture-fabric group, Nelen & Delbeke and Weverij van Neder from Belgium, J. Pansu Paris and Ledieu-Houriez from France, Enzo Degli Angiuoni, Lodetex and TA LI from Italy and Nooteboom Textiel from the Netherlands will be back again at the fair after varying periods of absence.

Gebrüder Munzert from Germany is also taking part again while Spain’s Perla Texbiar fabric specialists have signed up for the first time. Hall 4.2 is distinguished by the world’s biggest textile-design spectrum and around 200 designers are expected to make presentations within the framework of ‘Design live’. One of the companies making a comeback at Heimtextil 2015 will be Fine Art from Japan. Returnees are to be found in Hall 5.1, too, where the focus is on sun-protection and decoration systems. They include Tilldekor from Germany and Eisenkolb from the Netherlands.

As in the past, Hall 8.0 continues to be well occupied with Spanish companies Spacio Repos, Tejidos Acabados Teycu and Visco Foam making their Heimtextil debuts. Other newcomers include EG. Heild from Iceland, Värnamo Sängkläder from Sweden, The Down Association of Canada and Sonifex from the USA. One Heimtextil returnee has already registered for Hall 8.0: C-ENG from Japan. New European exhibitors have registered for Hall 9.0: Mistral Professional Textiles from Belgium, GI.PE. Tex from Italy and newcomer label Udden from Slovenia. The returnees so far are Emmevi from Italy, Mileta from the Czech Republic and Gap Pazarlama from Turkey.

There will also be new exhibitors in the premium segment for household textiles: in Hall 11.0, Merowings International from Germany, Sot. Sboras from Greece and The Green Design from the United Arab Emirates will be taking part in Heimtextil for the first time. Also making their debuts at the world’s leading fair for the sector fair – in Hall 11.1 – will be Avit Mode from Germany and Fabulous Goose from Sweden. Additionally, a new presentation by the Frankfurt School for Apparel and Fashion promises to be a genuine highlight.
