The team at retailer Land of Beds recently conquered a 15km run, braving 31 obstacles as part of the Tough Mudder endurance course – and raised £4475 for Claire House Children's Hospice, an organisation dedicated to standing by seriously and terminally ill children and their families.
CEO Mike Murray expresses immense pride and gratitude for the team's achievement, saying: "Our team's dedication to conquering Tough Mudder and supporting a worthy cause speaks volumes about their spirit, teamwork, and commitment to our community.
"Land of Beds is more than just mattresses and bed frames – we're deeply committed to our community through various charitable initiatives. Our unwavering dedication to community wellbeing, whether through bed donations, event sponsorship, product contributions, volunteering or fundraising, remains a cornerstone of our identity. Staff participation in these efforts is vital to our positive workplace culture and community impact, fostering camaraderie, pride, and unity among our team."
