Oak Furnitureland has launched a bespoke collection of flooring in four of its showrooms as it expands its product offering.
On 26th December, Oak Furnitureland's stores in Speke, Cheltenham, Farnborough and Wednesbury unveiled a new design, featuring roomsets styled to create the look and feel of a real home. New areas see an eclectic but complementary mix of hardwood furniture ranges, sofas, beds and mattresses displayed alongside one another, featuring soft interiors and accessories as finishing touches.
The retailer’s exclusive new collection of flooring has been laid throughout the entire ground floor for customers to see in full, and is complemented by a dedicated flooring consultation area.
To further integrate and enhance the omnichannel customer shopping experience, Oak Furnitureland has also launched a new app. When used alongside QR codes, which are featured on every range displayed, customers can scan and save products, which can then be brought to life in their own homes.
Alex Fisher, chief executive of Oak Furnitureland, comments: “As a brand, we put our customers at the heart of everything we do, which is why it was important for us to carefully develop our showrooms to bring our furniture to life in an authentic way that will inspire our customers.
“Customers can discover our flooring across the entire showroom, not just on a small display board, so they’re able to see a real difference and discover just how good our flooring looks when it’s laid as part of the whole room. The flooring has been thoughtfully curated to complement our stylish and unique solid wood furniture and sofas, really highlighting how great it will look in the home.
“Coupled with our new app and VR technology, we believe these four showrooms will create a more seamless shopping experience for our customers, bringing to life our whole home offer, which we will be introducing to more of our showrooms in the year ahead.”
