Safety "remains paramount" says January show organiser

Amid growing concerns around the new Omicron Covid-19 variant, the organiser of the January Furniture Show has stated that the event will go ahead as planned at the NEC this coming January (23rd-26th).

"With safety remaining paramount, we are working closely with the Association of Event Organisers (AEO), which is liaising with the Government directly on live event guidelines," comments show director, Russell Rule. "Continuing to follow Government guidance, we have updated our safety policy to include mandatory use of facecoverings. We were already conducting a Covid pass policy for entry (fully vaccinated, with the final dose more than 14 days ago or negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hours prior to attending).

"To review all measures, we are implementing to reach our commitments above (click here to find out more).

"We are committed to bringing you January Furniture Show 2022 in a safe environment that you can feel comfortable attending for your yearly buying needs. We have run successful trade shows up to now following the above safety measures and requiring a Covid pass for entry, the only new introduction being mandatory facecoverings.

"We look forward to seeing you in January to start 2022 on a positive note for the retail industry."

Occupying four halls at the NEC, the 2022 show promises over 350 brands and thousands of new launches, catering to every budget and style.
