Luxury bedmaker Savoir Beds has announced the debut of its first company-owned US showroom in New York City’s Upper East Side. The historic brand’s second Manhattan outpost has opened its doors on E 59th Street in the heart of uptown’s Design District, one of the nation’s top destinations catering to interior designers and architects.
“We are thrilled to bring cloud-like comfort to Manhattan’s Upper East Side with the opening of Savoir’s newest home,” says Alistair Hughes, MD of Savoir Beds. “The uptown store offers our clients the luxury and bespoke service they have come to expect from us as a company, and we look forward to welcoming customers to our new space to witness first-hand the splendour of Savoir.”
The showroom is housed in a stunning 2562 square-foot space spanning two floors with a dramatic cloud-like mezzanine overlooking the brand’s most iconic designs. Finished to an exceptional standard synonymous with the brand’s beds, the space includes subtle hints of gold, contrasted with traditional craft displays, which perfectly complement the white walls.
“When designing the space, we wanted to embrace elements that alluded to an art gallery,” says creative director Mandeep Dillon, who designed the new showroom. “The result is an aesthetic that cues visitors to feel as though they are not simply shopping for a bed, but rather a one-of-a-kind work of art.”
Visitors to the showroom will enjoy natural light that floods through the windows and a comfortable and discreet setting that beautifully complements and highlights the brand’s iconic beds. The space’s muted colour palette serves as the ideal back drop to display the range of sumptuous mattresses, luxe headboards and array of bedding options. Soft overhead lighting is dimmed upon request to simulate a customer’s ideal sleeping conditions within the space, as consumers engage with the product to discover which design and model best fulfils their personal preferences and needs.

On the heels of new showrooms in Paris, Seoul and Hong Kong, the new US showroom will mark the brand’s 14th showroom in marquee destinations around the world including London, Shanghai, Beijing, and St. Petersburg. Savoir Beds Uptown is located at 223 E 59th Street, between 3rd and 2nd Avenue. The store is open Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
