Saxon Furniture transitions to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT)

Saxon Furniture, a UK manufacturer of high-quality, handcrafted furniture, has made the transition to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

This significant move marks a new era for the company, which has been been in business for over four decades.

The transition to an EOT means that Saxon Furniture's future direction and ownership are now in the hands of its 79 employees. This dedicated workforce, who have all played crucial roles in the company's growth and development, will now share in its ownership and continued success.

"This is a momentous occasion for Saxon Furniture," says MD Matthew Deighton. "Our colleagues have always been the backbone of our success, and now they will have an even greater stake in our future. This transition to an EOT aligns perfectly with our company's values and our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction."

The move to employee ownership is expected to further strengthen Saxon Furniture's position in the market, ensuring that "the company's ethos and dedication to craftsmanship will be preserved and nurtured by those who know it best".
