ScS has issued another positive trading update after the two May Bank Holidays, reporting that total LFL sales order intake increased to 14.6% for the 45 weeks ended 4th June 2016.
As a result the group expects to report profits ahead of current market expectations, which have already been significantly upgraded during the current year.
CEO David Knight comments: "We are delighted that trading through the two key May Bank Holidays exceeded our initial expectations and the group continues to show excellent progress on a LFL basis in all retail categories."
In January, ScS reported total LFL sales order intake up 8.8% for the 25 weeks ended 16th January 2016, and in April these were up 12% for the first 37 weeks of the year.
