ScS opened its 101st store on Boxing Day, in Tunbridge Wells.
The new opening created 10 jobs in the area, and is located at the Great Lodge Retail Park. The 17,000 sqft store is set across two floors.
Dean Weston, sales and operations director at ScS, says: “The latest store opening in Tunbridge Wells is an exciting move for the business, marking our 101st opening and our continued plans for expansion into 2024, which will see us continue to grow our store portfolio.
“Whilst we’ve been investing into our digital proposition, we see the value of our bricks-and-mortar showrooms, offering people the chance to test out products and get a feel for a sofa before they decide to commit to a big purchase.
“We’re excited to be able to bring our value-driven proposition to the local community of Tunbridge Wells as we know the importance of being able to create a home you love, no matter what the budget.”
Customers can expect to find a variety of sofas, furniture, lighting, and flooring, as well as third-party brands such as G Plan and La-Z-Boy. The retailer also boasts collaboration collections such as its Ideal Home range.
Sobria Gosai, the Tunbridge Wells store manager, says: “We’re so excited to be able to bring the quality, design and value of ScS sofas and furniture to the people of Tunbridge Wells as well as to be able to invest in the local area through the creation of jobs in the store."
