Sealy's sleep ambassador search almost at an end

Sealy, the UK’s biggest bed manufacturer, began its search for an official sleep ambassador in January, and the vacancy has already attracted hundreds of applications.

The role – which is for an initial three-month period – will involve testing Sealy’s new range of beds, pillows and duvets, as well as trialling a number of sleep experiences including testing sleep aids and snooze-enhancing diets and lifestyles. The appointment is part of Sealy’s commitment towards helping the country become a nation of deeper sleepers.

The bed manufacturer is searching for an applicant who is proactive, open-minded and articulate.

Sales and marketing director Neil Robinson says: “This really is the ultimate job for the person who loves to snooze, and we are literally paying someone to sleep on the job. While undoubtedly it is a fun position, we do view this as an important job and we will be using our applicant to provide valuable feedback into our products, as well as debunking sleep myths. We can’t wait to start interviewing!”

The closing date is 5pm on Friday 19th February.
