Serene Furnishings is to expand its offering into other areas of the home furnishings market, has recruited Ben Cornwell to the position of national sales manager.
This strategic appointment is aimed at realising the ambitious plans set out by the company’s founder, Tasleem Tasab, that include growing market share and taking the business in to new areas of the industry. A wide range of new designs are being unveiled across all Serene’s key bed ranges and Serene Living is adding an exciting new dimension to the business with an impressive collection of living room recliners and dining tables and chairs.
Ben has over twenty-year’s experience of working with major brands, including The National Lottery, VAX, BISSELL, Disney – Frozen and POLTI. His exposure to a variety of industries in which he has worked closely with major UK retailers has given Ben broad experience that will prove invaluable in his new role. He joins from International Greeting Plc, an AIM listed company with a turnover of £225m.
Commenting on Ben’s appointment as Serene’s new national sales manager, the company’s founder and managing director, Tasleem Tasab, says: “It was imperative that we filled this important position with someone who could bring advanced, proven skill-sets to our business and those of our customers.
