Furniture retailer Sofa Club has broken records with its Black Friday 2024 campaign, delivering a YoY sales increase of +84%, and surpassing its previous record day.
This year, Sofa Club launched its Black Friday offers early, beginning on 15th November, two weeks ahead of the official Black Friday date. In contrast, the 2023 campaign debuted on the day itself. The extended timeline allowed customers more flexibility to explore Sofa Club’s offerings, resulting in immediate demand, including: a sofa sold every 30 seconds within the first hour of launch; and one in four customers receiving their orders within 48 hours.
The early launch also facilitated greater transparency with customers, offering them time to visit local showrooms and lounges or request free fabric swatches.
Sofa Club’s commitment to enhancing the customer experience was a cornerstone of this year’s success. The company’s advanced logistics capabilities enabled rapid delivery, exceeding customer expectations. While 25% of orders were delivered within 48 hours, this figure could have been even higher had more customers opted for next-day delivery, says the retailer.
