Oak Furniture Land, the UK’s fastest-growing furniture company, has broken its Boxing Day sales records with the launch of SofaStore, a new nationwide sofa chain.
Founder and MD of Oak Furniture Land, Jason Bannister, comments: "We’re thrilled with the day's performance, which has come ahead of expectations. Like-for-like sales were up 26%, and taking into account our new showrooms and the launch of Sofastore we have achieved 41% growth year on year. We expect sales to continue strongly through January."
The SofaStore launch on Boxing Day marks the first time in the UK that a sofa retailer has launched with a national network of showrooms. The new brand will sit alongside Oak Furniture Land.
