The New London Fabric Show, taking place until Tuesday 24th February at Chelsea Football Club, Stamford Bridge, has been hailed a success so far, with 40 companies visiting on the first morning alone.
Customers included quality manufacturers and retailers including Alstons, Buoyant, Collins and Hayes, DFS, Duresta, Parker Knoll, John Sankey, Vale Bridgecraft, David Linley, Wade Upholstery, Steinhoff, Henderson Russell and other notable names.
With 21 mills exhibiting both contract and domestic textiles, the show is decribed as an essential event for anyone serious about fabric buying.
Graham Stewart of Collins and Hayes comments: "It is a prestigious venue with the ability to view the best of international fabrics.”
Tina Evans of Shop Direct (offering brands including Very, Littlewoods, etc) was similarly impressed, and welcomed being able to meet representatives from so many mills in one day, which “would normally take weeks to visit”.
