Stuart Jones welcomes the arrival of Nicholas Akhurst to its team. He will be based at the company's West Sussex factory where it has been manufacturing for over 30 years. This follows the previous appointment of MD Alan Bennett who has led furniture design and manufacturing businesses over the last 20 years.
Nicholas is a 3D designer with a wealth of experience and a degree in Product Design from the University of Brighton. He has a comprehensive understanding of furniture design and construction, and is skilled in graphic visuals and 3D models. Stuart Jones product design and development has always been based on very traditional methods. The merger of Stuart Jones' traditional techniques with fresh ideas and modern technology will enable new, exciting products to be developed and enhance the product range. Such changes will be invaluable to the brand and in maintaining its respected reputation in the furniture industry.
