Mammoth, one of the bed industry’s fastest growing brands, celebrated a successful month in October.
Following on from its best ever Bed Show at Telford in September, the company saw a great month on the back of sales from Grand Designs Live Birmingham in October.
“It has been an incredibly busy couple of months for us,” says Mammoth’s head of marketing Kris Wood. “In terms of feedback, sales and opening key new accounts, we have been delighted at the response and uptake from the trade at the Bed Show and consumers at Grand Designs.
“Our appearance at Grand Designs came as a result of an approach by leading independent retailers Cousins. They asked if we would like to collaborate on the show and we were only too happy to help. They wanted to take a second stand at the exhibition with the sole purpose of promoting Mammoth.
“When our retailers are willing to invest in and promote the brand and products at an exhibition, then we are more than prepared to invest in it too. It was a great opportunity and one we wanted to make the most of. We designed the stand, the promotional materials, and point of sale items to emulate the inside of a retail store. This really worked as more beds were sold than we expected for a show catering to all aspects of home design. All in all it was a fantastic collaboration between Cousins, Mammoth and The Foam Co, our licensed manufacturer.
