July 15th saw the first anniversary of Swanglen Furnishings joining the Airsprung Group, which comprises such brands as Gainsborough Beds, Cavendish and Collins & Hayes.
Martin Allen, MD of Swanglen, comments: “Being part of the Airsprung Group has been a great experience. The combined experience and backing we have been able to draw on from within the group has been incredibly useful.
"This has allowed us to increase our workforce by 15%, which has led to a productivity increase of 25%."
This renewed focus has also allowed Swanglen to move into new areas, the latest innovation being a range of beds to complement the company's established bedroom furniture range.
“Customers have seen a renewed confidence in Swanglen, and they can’t wait to see what year two will bring,” concludes Martin.
