UK-based furniture brand Swyft has announced its expansion into the German market, powered by a £10m investment from new owner Sleep Brands.
Launched in 2019, Swyft, which focuses on creating easy-to-assemble upholstery and furniture designs, saw over 30,000 orders fulfilled in 2024 alone, and +13% YoY revenue growth.
Swyft says this latest this investment has enabled it to optimise its operations, improve delivery speed, and enhance inventory management.
“We started Swyft to inspire people to create beautiful homes, and we believe furniture should be effortless, timeless, and a true reflection of who you are,” says Keiran Hewkin, CEO of Swyft. “Our move into Germany is a natural extension of our growth strategy, and we’re excited to introduce our products to a new audience who values design and convenience. By Q4 2025, we expect Germany to contribute 15% of our total order intake.”
Proximity to Swyft’s manufacturing base in Poland ensures a smooth supply chain and supports the brand’s growing presence in Europe.
In addition to this expansion, Swyft is on track for nearly +100% SKU growth in 2025.
“At Swyft, we don’t believe furniture should be restrictive, it should enhance the spaces we live in,” adds Keiran. “With the support from Sleep Brands Ltd, we’re ready to bring our vision to Germany and help more people create spaces they love, faster and with less hassle.”
