Tempur Talks Sleep in free online session

With many people's sleep routines disrupted by a year of restricted movement, lockdowns, health concerns, separation from family members and friends, remote working and having children at home, mattress brand Tempur is offering a free workshop to promote better sleep and advise on the relationship between sleep and wellbeing.

Tempur's sleep expert, Suzy Reading (pictured), will be on hand towards the end of Mental Health Awareness Week (10-16th May), delivering a talk at 13am on Friday 14th May, including a 15-minute open Q&A session to address participants’ sleep needs.

"2020 was a year like no other, and disrupted sleep was a well-publicised side effect,” says chartered psychologist Suzy. “As we gradually head back towards a more ‘normal’ existence, it’s important to explore how we can get our sleep patterns back on track and prioritise healthy sleep habits.

“So many factors can have an impact on both the quality and quantity of our sleep. Tempur Talks Sleep is a wonderful initiative, designed to help Brits recover good routines, learn about useful sleep mechanisms and encourage quality, restful slumber.

“If your sleep has been suffering, you’re finding it harder to drop off, harder to wake up in the mornings, you’re waking in the middle of the night, or you’re simply interested in finding out more about the relationship between sleep and wellbeing, then join me on the 14th May for tips, tricks and techniques that can be easily incorporated into everyday life.”
