The Cotswold Company has appointed new management, including Jim Sharp as chairman, Matt Pollington as CMO, and Mike Ellis as director of merchandising.
Jim Sharp built his career at Schroeder’s and Jimmy Choo, and has chaired several high-growth digital brand-led retailers such as Seraphine, Feelunique, In The Style and YouGarden. He will work closely with CEO Ralph Tucker and investors to build on the retailer's growth over the last five years and deliver on its onward plans.
New CMO Matt Pollington, formerly Made.com's global director of customer and marketing, comments: “I am thrilled to be joining The Cotswold Company to help customers bring to life the vision of their home. Having previously held senior merchandising roles in Sainsbury’s and The White Company, Mike Ellis joins The Cotswold Company team to spearhead the merchandising team. He says: “I’m excited to be joining one of the country’s most well-loved brands, being part of the company’s mission to build furniture that lasts through sustainable practices is a fantastic opportunity to really make a difference.”
