Long-established fabric specialist, Swaffer, has been under new management for one year now. During this time, the company has restructured its sales team, raised its profile in terms of marketing activity, and is now ready to launch a new collection, Artemisia, at Decorex this month.
Sales director Mark Wilkins comments: “Our MD, Janet Beaney-Smith and her design team have produced the most striking of collections. The painterly-effect prints on both velvet and linen union base cloths in monochrome and jewel tones have received a great reaction. In addition, they’re competitively priced.”
Continuing Swaffer’s support of the British textile industry, all of the prints are designed, manufactured and printed in the UK.
Mark adds: “In addition to expanding our important export business, our aim is to engage fully with our trade customers and make sure that we support them by not only creating some interesting and commercial designs but support this with good service levels and stockholding.”
