Cottonsafe

The Cottonsafe range uses a natural cover fabric which combines organic cotton and wool. This patented material passes all the UK fire regulations naturally without any chemicals, up to and including Crib 5 Hotel Contract Standard. Cottonsafe mattresses do not use any adhesives, FRs or coatings in their covers or fillings.

Cottonsafe is manufactured in Devon using skilled mattress craftsman to produce a range of beds including luxury cotton, British wool, hand-teased Dartmoor wool and silk. Each mattress is constructed with up to four layers of hand side stitching, encompassing three pocket-sprung coils within each stich.

These completely natural mattresses are targeted at the concerning buyer looking for a top-of-the-range unique mattress at a very competitive price. "Our aim is to manufacture a product where nature, comfort and quality combine in one mattress," says MD, Mark Dowen. A range of Cottonsafe divans is also available.

Cottonsafe is currently expanding its range, moving into Northern Ireland with agent Robert Moore.
