Faux Leather collection, Serene Furnishings

Serene Furnishings’ new Faux Leather collection for 2014 is reportedly proving a hit with entrepreneurial-minded retailers and their customers up and down the country.

Since being unveiled at Interiors UK in January, demand for the collection’s designs has exceeded all initial expectations, with retailers attracted to the uniqueness of each of its models, quality of manufacture and competitive price points.

However, Tasleem Tasab, Serene’s founder and MD, notes: “We carry huge levels of stock, so our customers don’t have to. They can rely on us to support them with stock and quick delivery times, assisting them all we can in making that sale off the shop floor.”

The Serene Faux Leather range marries aspects of the traditional and contemporary in an attractive collection of bedsteads, sofa beds and headboards. With small-space living a consideration for many, a selection of its designs present innovative storage solutions, along with guest beds that can be neatly stowed away when not in use. The collection also presents grand statement pieces for the bedroom in homes where space allows.

Available in sumptuous black, brown and white faux leather, Carra is a new single bed with an innovative guest bed option stored in its base. The popular Lucca ottoman is now available as part of the collection as a non-ottoman bed in sizes ranging from 120-180cm and a choice of white or black faux.

Catania is another new contemporary-styled design in white or black and choice of four sizes – its square, buttoned panels to the head- and foot-end providing a modern, minimalist touch. Andria, meanwhile, was unveiled at the January show as a distinguished design of substantial proportions, with Chesterfield-style grandeur, studs and bun feet, available in a choice of black and brown.

And there is much more that is new, fully presented in a new brochure that can also serve as a sales tool for retailers offering this range to their own customers. It seems that the creative team at Serene has succeeded with this well-put-together range in fabrics, which, as a result of numerous treatments, closely replicate the look and feel of real leather, but at a fraction of the cost.
