Neutra, well-regarded as one of Italy’s premium producers of bath and wellness products, has expanded its remit with Neos, a new furniture collection conceived by multi-disciplinary designer, Luca Martorano.
The collection is a first for bathroom brand Neutra, which has an earned an esteemed reputation for its high design and the premium quality of its bathroom products. Neos represents months of research and development to create a truly multi-functional collection. Staying true to Neutra’s tradition, Neos can still be used within bathrooms and wellness areas – but the collection is intended, and can be equally implemented, for any living room.
The strong, minimalist design of Neos adds to its appeal for a wide range of locations, including hospitality environments. The geometry behind the furniture gives it a precise, modern look, while the surfaces – a combination of intricately-detailed stone and wood – offers a timeless appeal.
Neos’ stone covering, made of thin, unnoticeable sheets, is strong and solid. Luca Martorano opted for the covering to provide more efficient functionality for every day use – but without compromising on the designer look of the furniture. Featuring rounded corners, each piece effortlessly combines a palpable, soft elegance with a geometrically-solid frame. It is this unassuming elegance that further enforces its suitability for use in all types of interior design schemes – whether traditional or contemporary, residential or commercial.
Further bolstering its appeal is Neos’ ability to be customised. During the research and design process, Luca Martorano experimented with a number of different stones varieties and wood species to achieve the collection’s aesthetically-fluid silhouette. Consequently, a selection of nine finishes is available as a part of the standard collection, but Neutra – a specialist in wood and stone products – is also able to customise the furniture with any variety of stone or wood that is currently available within its material bank.
Moreover, the well-proportioned Neos collection is especially ideal for smaller interiors. Neutra offers a number of sizes for all items within the collection, with the smallest measuring just 55 x 50cm – ideal for those requiring a space-saving solution.
Furniture within the collection can be used either separately or as a full set. Again, customers are offered the possibility to mix-and-match the finishes and pieces to create a truly eclectic, or classical, interior scheme.
For its first attempt at furniture outside of the bathroom, Neutra, along with Luca Martorano, has conceived an impressive, adaptable collection that is complementary to modern, and future, interior trends.
