Upholstery brand Welbeck will return to the marketplace this month, with seven new ranges being launched at The Furniture Show at the AIS Showrooms in Solihull from 19th-21st January.
Manufactured by the Long Eaton team at Wade Upholstery, the Welbeck brand will target the middle market – a Welbeck sofa will be targeted to retail between £800 and £1100. According to Wade, this will be achieved by utilising firm edged suspension specification, lined seat platform cloths and random matched fabrics – but the skills of Wade’s upholsters will ensure the customer gets a quality product.
Sales and marketing director Chris Everist says: “Feedback from customers is that they are looking for good quality, British-manufactured upholstery, offering some level of exclusivity on the high street at prices that allow the retailer to achieve margins, yet offer the consumer a great deal.”
The re-introduction of Welbeck will expand the pricing architecture of the Wade Upholstery manufacturing plant and the announcement has already been welcomed by many retailers.
