A new standalone website has been launched for Vogue Beds Group sub-brand, Sports Therapy Mattress.
This reason for creating a separate website for the Sports Therapy Mattress brand was driven by the distinct differences between this range and the group's standard product offering, and to capitalise on the increasing awareness of this growing range.
Since it was launched in summer of sport in 2012, Sports Therapy has gained momentum, attracting endorsements from various sports stars. The latest athlete to feature is Olympic Gymnast, Kristian Thomas, who is taking part in the Commonwealth Games to be held later this year in Glasgow, along with other British athletes Claire Cashmore and Hannah Whelan, who have also endorsed the mattress.
These sportsmen and women join Dai Greene, who was one of the first on board, in explaining how useful and beneficial his Sports Therapy Mattress has been to him. "I’m very happy with the mattress, as I find it very comfortable after a long day training. I chose the firm option, and not only does it help me unwind, it has helped relieve stiffness through my lower back. I go to sleep feeling relaxed and wake up feeling flexible."
National sales manager James Appleyard comments: "With the increased exposure of the Sports Therapy Mattress brand and an ever-increasing list of positive feedback from UK sportsmen and women who are achieving great level of success in their chosen fields, it was only right that we recognise this brand as one that deserves its own platform.
"The technology used in the production of the mattress range is different, and the marketing of the Sports Therapy brand is too - as the commitment to backing and supporting these British athletes shows - so we wanted to be fully committed to pushing this message through our existing retailers and those who come on board as a result.
"This doesn't detract from the support we will be giving to our core brands – for example, our flagship Hampton brand will be upgraded and relaunched at the NBF show in September – but it is an acknowledgement that different brands need to be treated differently."
The new Sports Therapy Mattresses and pillow will be present at both the Manchester Furniture Show and NBF Bed Show this year.
