The Walkworth ottoman bed is one of the most successful models in Kaydian's lift-up ottoman storage bed range, which features gas power-assisted mechanisms, ensuring the storage area is easily accessible.
It is available from stock in double, king and super king sizes, in three designs and a variety of upholstery options.
Kaydian reports strong trading over the last year or so. The company's Richard Jeffrey and Neville Boyd comment: “At the end of January we had sold all of our stock plus the three months' rolling stock we carry. This obviously had a negative effect on our normally good lead times and customer confidence. As everybody knows, stock is the hardest part of an importer's job and is always the headache of stockists who sell a product from the shop floor or online and can’t get the money in the till until it has been delivered.
"Due to our own success, we had to react quickly and make some big financial decisions. Fortunately we have a great relationship with our suppliers, and through investment and their co-operation we fulfilled every outstanding order and received stock for the next six months.
"Coupled with the patience of our customer base and the attempts we make to service beyond the line of duty, we can move forward and confidentially deliver our orders within 24 hours to five days.
"We now have a great outlook for the second half of the year, and will be hopefully opening a new distribution centre and showroom not far from our Derbyshire distribution centre in the New Year."
