Established in 1989, Gascoigne Designs is a privately-owned upholstery manufacturer that supplies to interior designers and high-end furniture retailers, both in the UK and internationally.
Inspired by owner David Gascoigne's passion for furniture, the company is able to offer impressive, handmade upholstery in an array of styles including classic English and sleek contemporary, through to luxurious Italian show-wood sofas and chairs.

All of the company's upholstery is produced at its factory in the UK's centre of furniture manufacturing excellence, Long Eaton, using select fabrics sourced from some of the world’s finest weaving mills. Crafted using select components, each piece is individually hand cut and accurately lock stitched before being upholstered by time-served upholsterers to produce a truly desirable piece of furniture.
The company is proud to offer a complete made-to-measure/bespoke service, offering a wide variety of adjustments on most models within the range. These include frame size adjustments, seat, back and scatter cushion choices, sofa bed options, and a multitude of fabrics including a COM option.
