Award-winning British bed manufacturer Hypnos – known for designing and producing innovative, stylish and comfortable products for the retail and hospitality sector – presented its luxury retail products for the first time at imm cologne this year.
This was Hypnos’ first visit to imm cologne, as the brand continued to step up its overseas growth. In Cologne, the company built on the strong reputation it has earned in the UK to promote a range of products solely designed for the international market.
Having manufactured luxury handmade beds in Buckinghamshire for more than 100 years, Royal Warrant holder Hypnos is renowned as an expert in handcrafted pocket-sprung mattresses and divans.
Group marketing director Chris Ward says: “Hypnos is continually growing and we are proud to see it becoming a bigger brand year after year. As a result of this growth, we were delighted to showcase our products and craftsmanship at imm cologne/the International Interiors Show. Exhibiting here reinforced our commitment to international buyers by showcasing products specifically for their market with designs on a global scale.”
With increased demand for products which support the trend for spending more time living and relaxing in the bedroom, the show provided an opportunity for Hypnos to demonstrate its innovations for helping customers choose a bed suited to their needs.
As well as meeting key members of the team, visitors were able to learn more about the launch of Hypnos’ Affinity collection, which completes the company’s comprehensive and exclusive offer. Comprising a variety of models, the range has been designed for customers who prefer a firmer level of comfort.
In addition to these dedicated mattress ranges, Hypnos presented its latest innovations (originally launched in the UK), including the generous EasyStore drawer divan base. This provides the option for customers to create a unique storage solution for their bedroom, thanks to an abundance of accessible space built in.
In addition, Hypnos has launched the E-motion and E-motion Plus adjustable beds, both of which feature pocket-sprung mattresses. Demonstrating all the advantages and comfort of being able to adjust and lift the torso and/or legs to suit a customer’s everyday needs – whether for reading, family time, or relaxation after a long day – the pocket-sprung and upholstered bases come with a spacious end drawer and a choice of corded or wireless controls.
Renowned for offering customers bespoke, one-of-a-kind models, Hypnos also launched the style options presented at last year’s NBF show, which include a selection of new fabrics, leg and feet options and headboard designs.
As the 2017/18 (and third-time) winner of the NBF Bed Manufacturer of the Year award, Hypnos says that it is proud to be the only global bed manufacturer to have been awarded carbon-neutral status for its UK factories, as well as achieving FSC and PEFC certifications to confirm that its timber is sourced from managed forests.
Hypnos is also one of only a handful of UK manufacturers to have been awarded the prestigious Manufacturing Guild Mark (MGM) accreditation.
