Artisan Furniture is a British company based in Westminster, London, with a storage and distribution centre in Ipswich and a factory in Jaipur, India.
The company specialises in manufacturing handmade furniture featuring contemporary and traditional styles, direct from the hands of artisans in Jaipur who have been practising their craft for generations: "A truly authentic handicraft experience, for a world that is sorely lacking in them," states the supplier.
Orders can be delivered to any destination, there is no minimum order for value or volume, and free, three-business-day delivery is offered within the UK mainland.
Artisan also offers cross-border deliveries to Europe, the US and around the world, by economy-road and air. The supplier says this programme is ideal for customers that do not wish to hold any stock and want to work completely online, and so is perfect for both new start-ups and established companies.
There is a -10% discount applied if spending £1000 or more (before tax), and there is no commitment to annual spend.
Artisan Furniture offers more than 1500 different product designs, covering the living room, dining room, bedroom and more. Product categories include bedsides, media units, coffee tables, chests, cabinets and more – alternatively, customers can take advantage of Artisan's wholesale programme, whereby they can order a 20tft or 40ft container of mixed products and have it delivered directly to their business premises.
"Two different means to the same end," states Artisan. "Quality, handmade furniture, made with centuries-old techniques."
Artisan explains that the wholesale programme is specifically for large customers that have room and resources, and can pay for a full container of stock at one time. They can avail of up to -50% off the trade price, and these higher discounts can provide more margins on the selling price, or can be used to offset the storage costs. Customers then have the comfort of knowing their own stock levels.
It can also be used for any customer who is quoting for a specific large project. For example, they may be successful in bidding for a full refurbishment of a hotel. In this case, Artisan can arrange for the whole order to be delivered to the customer, or even to the hotel site.
