Now run by the fourth generation of family members, Lynch Sales Company has helped retailers meet their goals for 107 years.
Joseph (JP) Lynch founded the company after making a sales deal with Sears Roebuck and Co in 1914, and realising that his unique method of selling and promotion could impact countless stores.
Today, Lynch is a leader in its field, executing sales events for thousands of retail clients throughout the US, Canada and the UK.
"My great grandfather, JP, is one of many family members who have contributed to the company," says Lynch's VP of marketing, Stephanie Lynch, "including John Lynch, Daniel Lynch, Philip Lynch, Dan Lynch Jr, Judson Lynch, Megan Lynch, Allison Lynch and Catherine Lynch, plus the current management team – Chris Lynch, Barbara Lynch, and myself. Each generation is unique, but our philosophy has never changed.”
Company president Chris Lynch comments: “Helping retailers to meet their goals, such as raising cash for a comfortable retirement, is the most gratifying part of what we do.”
Since 1998, Lynch's UK division has been managed by Gareth Price. Lynch has worked with the likes of Cousins, Collingwood Batchellor, Elphicks, Fishpools, G & W Furniture, Grampian Furnishers, Lenleys and Roomes, as well as helping corporate clients, such as House of Fraser, raise over £18m from redundant stock.
