Sylvawood Furniture, which is celebrating its 30th year of making furniture at its Wiltshire factory, offers a reliable supply of well-made solid pine, painted pine and solid oak furniture.
Sylvawood now produces five carefully-crafted collections of bedroom, dining, occasional and home office furniture, all made from solid FSC-certified pine and oak, and offers a large selection of painted, waxed, lacquered and oiled finishes, plus several choices of handles.
The elegant, best-selling Antique Collection, with its fluted detailing and hand-applied ‘antique wax over paint’ finish, has over 80 pieces of bedroom furniture from which to choose, and can also be finished in a solid paint finish – from a choice of 17 colours – if preferred. The recent addition of four-poster beds has proved popular with customers.
The classically-designed Chatsworth Collection includes a large choice of practical and attractive dining, bedroom and occasional pieces with painted bodies and contrasting oak tops, cornices and handles. It too proved popular throughout 2012.
The more contemporary Lulworth Collection of bedroom and dining furniture is manufactured in both solid oak and solid pine. Its handsome and generously-proportioned pieces, great variety of sizes and quick delivery times have made this range a popular choice for discerning customers.
For the traditionalist, the Avebury Collection of bedroom, dining, occasional, home office and even bathroom furniture offers a truly comprehensive range – currently over 600 pieces – in solid pine and solid oak. It has a simple but trusted design that has stood the test of time, and has seen enduring repeat sales. Customers can choose from waxed or lacquered pine, painted pine, painted pine with waxed pine contrasting, solid oak, or painted pine with oak contrasting to create their own unique display.
The Sweetheart Collection is a range of white-painted bedroom furniture for girls, and features an engraved heart motif on the plinths, doors and upstands of the cabinets. If preferred, customers can order any piece in a choice of 17 other colours but without the heart motifs, making it more suitable for boys’ rooms.
All these collections have their own full-colour brochure, which make a useful sales tool for the retailer and are user-friendly for the customer. For its principal stockists, Sylvawood Furniture will also make special sizes of tables, bookcases and wardrobes, including scribing pieces together to form a run of cabinets. All stockists are provided with colour sample boxes, handle sample boards and colour brochures for the ranges they stock.
All furniture is made to order, and delivery times are approximately four to six weeks.
