A panel of experts has been assembled to judge the 2026 Future of Furniture Awards, hosted by the British Furniture Association (BFA).
Amanda Moore, Richard Naylor and Eleanor Garrett will evaluate entries to the awards, which shine a spotlight on the strides in sustainability and training taken by BFA members.
Submissions are now being accepted for 2026, and winners will be announced during a reception at the BFA’s Furniture Component Expo in Telford (11-12th March).
With a focus on the environment and training, the four award categories are Excellence in Education, Excellence in Sustainability, Excellence in ESG Reporting and Sustainability Champion.
BFA MD Phil Spademan says: “Since the first Future of Furniture Awards in 2023, we’ve seen an array of fantastic projects and initiatives put forward from BFA members. The awards are a great way to highlight the work our member businesses are doing in training and sustainability and to celebrate the work of individuals who have shown leadership and commitment in the sustainability arena.
“The Future of Furniture Awards are increasingly recognised as a hallmark of forward-thinking and innovation – and we are extremely pleased to have the expertise of our judging panel to assess the entries.
“BFA members can enter any or all of the categories and we look forward to once more applauding the excellent work businesses are doing to lead the industry into the future of furniture.”
Amanda Moore, MD at Achieve and Partners, returns to the judging panel for a second year, bringing expertise in learning and assessment that has helped shape the qualifications landscape.
She will be joined by BFA’s sustainability consultant, Richard Naylor of Hawksfield, one of the world’s leading sustainable and circular mattress design experts, and Planet Mark’s Eleanor Garrett, who works with organisations to embed sustainability into their operations for positive change.
The closing date for entries to the Future of Furniture Awards 2026 is 23rd January and the criteria and entry form for each category can be found here.
