Diversity, mental health in the workplace and supporting colleagues going through the menopause are three of the subjects being discussed at the 2024 Routes to a Stronger Workforce event, organised by The Furniture Makers’ Company.
The one-day conference, sponsored by Blum UK, was initially scheduled to take place on Thursday 4th July, but due to the general election, the date of the event has been changed, to Thursday 11th July (10am-3.30pm), still at Furniture Makers’ Hall, London. It is the fourth annual event organised by the company aimed at HR professionals working in the furniture and furnishing industry.
The event will be chaired by Emma Welch, group HR director at Ocee International.
Jonny Westbrooke, CEO of The Furniture Makers’ Company, says: “The annual Routes to a Stronger Workforce event has become a much-valued opportunity for busy HR professionals to connect with each other, share best practices, and address some of the most pressing issues in their profession. The conference aims to provide valuable insights and actionable advice to help HR professionals support a stronger, more resilient workforce. Attendees will benefit from expert speakers, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities.”
The event costs £50 for non-members of The Furniture Makers’ Company, and £25 for members. Register to attend here.
